Inspired by the timeless elegance of McLaren Vale’s historic buildings and vineyard vistas, the Luxury Accommodation McLaren ValeWirra Wirra project promises to redefine luxury hospitality in South Australia. Smedley envisions a resort that not only harmonizes with its natural surroundings but also pays homage to the region’s wine-making legacy.
“Our design ethos is rooted in celebrating the essence of McLaren Vale—its vineyards, Australian bushland, and the enduring spirit of Wirra Wirra,” explains Smedley. “Each element of the resort has been meticulously crafted to honor the local aesthetics while offering guests an immersive experience in luxury and serenity.”
Crafted from locally sourced limestone, granite, and bluestone, the resort’s architecture exudes a sense of timeless elegance. The buildings, strategically nestled amidst native tree lines, blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, inviting guests to reconnect with nature while indulging in opulent comfort.
Partnering with the esteemed Blink Design Group, renowned for their mastery in luxury resort architecture, Greaton has envisioned a retreat that transcends the ordinary. With a $30 million investment, the resort will boast 33 luxurious keys spread across ten distinct buildings, including nine double-storey casitas and the meticulously restored Wigley house, now transformed into a bridal suite.
But luxury at Wirra Wirra extends beyond lavish accommodations. A reflection pool sets the stage for tranquil moments, while a state-of-the-art wellness center promises rejuvenation of mind, body, and spirit.
