One of the initiatives in the Barunga West Annual Business Plan was to investigate the upgrade and potential relocation of the Visitor Information Centre in Port Broughton.

The project will also investigate the creation of a ‘Top of the Yorke’ Tourism Centre, incorporating the Visitor Information Centre and showcase local products and services. It involved reviewing the current location and layout of the existing Visitor Information Centre and investigating ways in which the facility could have more of a presence in Port Broughton.
